Sprint Diagnostic Measurement Track at the Olympic Training Centre of Saxony-Anhalt

13 photoelectric proximity sensors with background suppression for the measurement points at 0, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110 m can be activated in this system.

It is however up to the trainer, which measurement points he wants to include in the current training module and how long the entire running distance should be. This can be easily set up with the touchscreen of the PC incorporated in the central control unit.

At the start distributor box he can decide upon the starting method, e. g.:

  • flying, by means of the double photoelectric proximity sensor at measurement point 0
  • with a starting flap that can be connected
  • via a push button which can be plugged in
  • out of a starting block with radar sensor in order to measure the start reaction time

One part of the start distributor is a zero-key. With just a push of this button the complete system including the time display board can be reset, i. e. set to zero,  for the next run.

All measured data can be stored in the database of the central control unit or exported in a text file to be imported into a suitable external database.
